What is an Inverter?

Inverters converts the 12V direct current (DC) from a leisure battery or solar panels into 230V alternating current (AC), allowing standard household appliances and devices with 3-pin plugs to be used when off-grid or not connected to a mains hook-up. It sits between the battery and the appliance, acting as an essential device for powering AC-dependent electronics.

Inverters come with different technologies, some with inbuilt 230v hook up charging facilities whilst others come with auto switching between on grid and off-grid.

All our installs come with adequate cable & fuse sizing provided by Kinetic Leisure, replacing manufacturers on the limit cables.

The Fitting

On arrival, we discuss key factors with you before starting. These include cable management, Inverter placement, additional socket locations.

On completion we’ll help you download any APP’s to monitor and any documentation for the products installed.
